Okay so I love all the new mega forms for the Kanto starters but when I was watching the trailer, I noticed... Blastoise now has these massive shiny looking neck popping water cannons from the pools of hell itself...only to have him use hydro pump out of his mouth. What? I sincerely hope that in game the model has some sort of animation where those cannons are used because they're badass as hell. In Colosseum I remember that there was an animation in which the cannons were used for attacks. They need that back.

On a side note, it pisses me off how few of blastoises best moves (standard AND mega) actually USE the giant cannons on his arms and back. The setup I have for mine is Scald (chosen because it has really good power despite not getting the mega launcher boost AND has a chance of burning the opponent thus lowering attack), Ice beam (better than dragon pulse in terms of versatility and power), Aura sphere and Skull bash (for taking out squishy psychic types). NONE of those moves use the cannons! How awesome would it be to see boiling hot water, a stream of ice, and a ball of pure aura coming out of those big ass cannons?!
